There’s no denying that some of the things from the Apollo program look unusual, and are quite literally foreign to us in all other contexts.

Flags waving in the airless environment of the Moon, crosshairs seeming to disappear in photographs, no flames coming out of rocket engines?

What is going on here? Are there actual explanations for all of these things, or are we just expected to take NASA’s word? How do we actually know humans have been to the Moon?
